확진 2천9명·사망 142명 증가…후베이 이외 신규 확진 100명대로 떨어져

중국에서 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 확산세가 사흘째 둔화했다.

중국 국가위생건강위원회는 15일 하루 동안 전국의 코로나19 확진자가 2009명 늘었으며 사망자는 142명 증가했다고 16일 발표했다.

이에 따라 15일 밤 12시 기준 누적 확진자는 6만8500명이며 사망자는 1665명으로 집계됐다.

발원지인 우한(武漢)이 있는 후베이(湖北)성을 제외한 지역에서는 12일째 신규 확진자의 증가폭이 둔화했다. 지난 3일 890명에서 지속 감소해 전날에는 166명으로 100명대를 처음으로 기록했다.
